The Schoolhouse on Little Cauchon Lake was a building used to teach the children of the local Algonquin Rangers and some presume the children of the families of the nearby logging camps. This building is located near the old Daventry Railway Station site. Within the walls you can find old teaching materials, camp equipment containers and even a train schedule from 1953.

Please my only ask of you is this: If you do visit this site (as with any other historical site named on my website) please, please leave everything exactly as it is. I would be more than pissed off and disappointed if the next visitors couldn't hold the near-70 year old train schedule because I revealed where it was. So please, out of respect for your fellow explorers, take nothing but photographs and leave.
