Built in 1890 (Approx). This root cellar was built by the Barnet Lumber Company. It was built to house supplies for the crews of the lumber company. This root cellar is located at the South end of Burntroot Lake, where a bunch of inter-connected trails take you into the past. When you get there, be sure to follow each path to find all the hidden gems in the area - and to find the old portage to Alder Creek.
