Built in 1935. This massive cabin was built from older, master-crafted hewn logs acquired from a nearby logging operation - likely Booth Farm/Depot. The cabin received a new roof in 1978 and is in excellent condition. The dovetail joints used on this cabin are the trademark of a carefully constructed cabin, as this particular joint is extremely strong and was the standard used for military structures across colonial North America. This cabin is great for people who want to experience a back country cabin, but do not want to portage their canoe and gear to get there - it's about an hour's paddle from the access point to this cabin.
