There is a set of two building foundations in the clearing next to the Highview Cabin. This three and a half acre clearing dates back to the World War One era, though the Highview Cabin itself was constructed several years later. The two foundations are covered by natural growth and only the outline is visible to the naked eye. At the peak of use for this site, the larger foundation would have likely been a camboose camp and the smaller possible a warehouse or separate housing for lumber staff.
